What to Do with Your Hair During Quarantine

As you probably already know, because of the coronavirus pandemic, Illusion Unlimited’s Cleveland hair salons are closed as of March 18.  That includes our salon in Strongsville, as well as our Broadview Heights location and our hair salon in Parma, Ohio.

We are thinking of you during this difficult and are looking forward to seeing you as soon as it is safe to do so. Until then, we hope you and your loved ones stay safe and well.

Tips to Manage Your Quarantine Hair

  1. First of all, we want you to remember that you are still beautiful even if your roots are showing, your bangs grow out and you can’t do anything with your hair. The rules have changed and no one has figured out what the new rules are yet, so don’t give yourself a hard time.

Let’s repeat that… Do. Not. Give. Yourself. A Hard Time.

  1. If you’re a silver lining kind of person, you can look at this as an opportunity to give your hair a break from the styling tools and products you use on a normal basis. Giving your hair a vacation from the high heat alone will help keep it healthy while you and your family are staying healthy, too!
  1. Have some fun. Get creative. Go retro. Look around the house, you must have some scarves, hats, ribbons or clips that you can use to pull your hair back, cover it up or do whatever it is that’s going to help you through this. And don’t worry if you have a Zoom meeting. Everyone is in the same boat. It’s your smile that will make the biggest impression.

All of us at Illusion Unlimited’s Parma hair salon as well as the team at our salon in Strongsville and everyone at the Broadview Heights salon want you to know that we miss you, but there are more important things right now than visiting your favorite Cleveland hair salon. (Or your favorite nail salon in Strongsville!) We will all be together again, until then stay safe and be well!
