Spring Style from your Favorite Cleveland Hair Salon

It looks like lots of stylish women are getting a bang out of one this year’s hottest hair trends. Yes, bangs are back in a very big way.

InStyle is going for sexy this spring.  “If you are into the idea of breathing new life into your look, you’ll have no shortage of inspiration in 2018,” they say The Top 10 Sexiest Haircuts for Spring. “From perms and bangs to long, blunt cuts, we rounded up 10 of the sexiest haircuts worth trying this spring. Keep scrolling to see a few of the looks that are still trending and a few new styles you’re bound to see everywhere this year.”

Bangs are the defining element in several of InStyle’s favorite looks.  There’s the Bob and Bangs, Long Lengths and Bangs, Wispy Bangs and a Shag Cut… you get the idea.

“Chin-grazing styles, as seen on celebrities like Nina Dobrev, are still trending for spring, but you can completely transform the look of your bob by adding a set of blunt bangs,” they say.  If you want to grow out a shag, InStyle says wispy bangs are the way to go.  Curtain Bangs, however, are what the magazine calls “the bang style of 2018.”

Haper’s Bazaar adds Baby Bangs, Fuzzy Fringe and the Subtle Side Bang to the list.  “Some of us have accidentally worn this trend, seen on Emma Watson, when we got a little too scissor happy while trimming our bangs. But baby bangs (or micro fringe) is having a moment—whether you like it or not,” the magazine reports in 10 Spring and Summer Hairstyles 2018.

“If you don’t want to chop any inches of your long hair but you’re itching for a change, get bangs. Selena Gomez just debuted choppy side-swept bangs at the Coach NYFW show that could very well be faux. It’s a haircut even the most commitment-weary among us can’t resist trying,” Harper’s says.

InStyle called Gomez’s fresh spring look Long Lengths and Bangs. Whatever you call the look, it is very flattering on her.  Cutting some long layers into your pride and joy will add movement and life to longer hair and, when it’s time grow those bangs out, you’ll have lovely, face-framing layers that don’t look out of place at all.

Southern Living loves bangs, too.Shaggy bangs are in full-force due to their low maintenance styling and cool-girl feel. We’re seeing many bangs that aren’t full fringe or blunt, but instead go a little more wispy or part in the center,” the magazine advises in These Haircuts Are Going to Take Over Salons in 2018. “It’s going to make having bangs a less stressful affair!”
